Brazilian wines are tasted by new yorker oenophiles

Brazilian wines are gaining more space and recognition in the international market but it depends on a lot of actions and promotions carried out by institutes and specialized companies in the sector.

Activity promoted by interactive media company Bottlenotes is focused on the final consumer and hosts the fifth time the Brazilian labels

Five wineries members of the project Wines of Brazil participate on Friday (7/11/14) of Around the world in 80 sips, event aimed to wine lovers in New York (USA).

It is the fifth time that Brazil participates in the program, promoted by Bottlenotes, interactive media company focused on the production of wine and craft beers in the United States.

The Wines of Brazil is a sector export promotion project conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Wine (Ibravin) and the Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion (Apex-Brazil).

The Brazilian table will have 10 labels, including wines and sparkling wines from Wineries Aurora, Basso, Crumb, Perini and Salton.
“The Around The World in 80 Sips is an event aimed to a select audience of wine lovers and this year occurs in 14 major US cities.

It is very important the exhibition of Brazilian wines in events of this size and the concept is adding value to our products, “says Monica Tartaro, Promotion analyst to the External Market Ibravin, responsible for the American market in the Wines of Brazil.

From January to September 2014, the wineries members of Wines of Brazil exported to the United States 79,263 liters of wine (USD 268,459.00).
