ALMA SAUVIGNON BLANC 2012

Casa Geraldo, Minas Gerais, Brazil (R$ 19,00). White wine made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes harvested in winter without passing through wood. It presents a yellow golden color, greenish reflections and aromas of white fruits and fresh citrus fruits surrounded by typical plants and herbaceous notes, beyond floral, mineral and smoky tones. On the palate, it is fruity, structured, has good volume in the mouth, refreshing acidity and medium end / long enjoyable. Well done and tasty to drink. 13.5% alcohol.

PRIMEIRA ESTRADA Syrah 2010

Vinícola Estrada Real, Minas Gerais, Brazil (R$ 65,00). Produced exclusively from Syrah grapes ripened and harvested during autumn / winter, ie, through pruning the vine to produce grapes is carried out of the ordinary during the Spring / Summer, which enables a longer cycle, allowing the maturation more homogeneous fruit. The color is ruby red with violet reflections and aromas of red fruits wrapped in spicy and mineral notes. On the palate, it is fruity, structured, good acidity and resolved tannins and medium finish. Worthy to be proved. 13.5% alcohol.
